  Concordia University is a leader in institutional recycling. In 2005-2006, Concordia reached 86% of the Quebec Residual Materials Management Policy 1998-2008, which aims for a 65% increase in the valorization, and recycling of solid waste.

  In 2008, R4 has launched a new large-scale composting facility on the Loyola campus. This is one of the biggest facility in Canada.

  Compost Montréal offers collection service to residents and businesses alike, all over the Island of Montréal.
